The Department of Shari'ah and Law,Faculty of Arabic & Islamic Studies is going to offer Ph.D Shari'ah program. This is the most important & significant program being offered by the Department. This program is reputed one of the best program in public sector universities of Pakistan. The graduates with Ph.D Shari'ah degree from AIOU will be serving on important academic, professional & administrative post in the colleges & Universities of Pakistan as well as foreign countries. This program requires 2 to 5 year's time for completion. The Department has the opportunity to hire the expertise of supervisors from almost all-Pakistani Public sector universities. After the completion of course works each student will be required to complete a research thesis under a qualified Ph.D supervisor appointed by the Board of Advance Studies & Research. LLM Shari'ah/MS Shari'ah degree will be awarded after the evaluation of the thesis by the foriegn experts and successfully defense of viva voce.
