Jinnah University For Women was established through a bill passed on 22nd January 1998 by the Sindh Assembly, and published as Special Gazette No. M-324, after the consent of Governor Sindh, vide this letter dated 2nd June 1998. The Anjuman-e-Islamia Trust founded by Al-Haj Moulvi Reyazuddin Ahmed established 17 academic institutions and the last but not the least the Jinnah University For Women which may be regarded as the pinnacle of the multidimensional activities of the Trust. In this regard the members are faithfully following the foot-steps of their philanthropist founder Al-Haj Moulvi Reyazuddin Ahmed. The University is situated at prime location, in the heart of city, conveniently accessible by public transport from all parts of the city. The infrastructure of the University fulfills all requirements of teaching/learning process as per need for higher education and research.
