Description

Nowadays, electronics is playing a vital role in almost every field of human life. From simple hand-held digital watches to complicated digital computers, electronic engineering is seen at the front-end in design of these devices. Understanding the need of this fast-growing and ever demanding field of engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering has started the program of Electrical (Electronics) Engineering in Fall-2012. This 4-year undergraduate program is intended to fulfill the demand of industrial fields such as embedded systems development, automation systems and electronics-based control systems. The focus of the electronic engineering program is on strengthening our students in the areas such as analogue and digital circuits design, embedded hardware and circuit design and automation system design using microcontrollers etc. In addition to that students are made familiarize with state-of-the-art and industry-standard simulation tools such as National Instruments’ LabVIEW and MultiSim. To further enhance their technical abilities, students are provided with the opportunity to take certified short-courses on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) within the vicinity of university campus.Show More
